Andrew Griffiths is 39, and lives in the Burton.  He was elected as Member of Parliament for Burton and Uttoxeter in May 2010 with a majority of 6304.

The youngest of five, he was born in Staffordshire. Before entering politics, he worked for his family-run Engineering business in the West Midlands. He understands the pressures on small businesses and what we need to support companies big and small across Burton and Uttoxeter.

Andrew has a wealth of experience and knows how to get things done. He has been involved at the highest level of politics for many years.

Andrew fought the European Elections in 2004 here in Burton and Uttoxeter as a candidate for the West Midlands. He previously fought the seat of Dudley North in the 2001 General Election.

Andrew has a passion for farming, and was the Conservative Party’s advisor on farming matters in Brussels, and worked on the European Inquiry into foot and mouth.
